Zildjian K Custom Hybrid 18" Crash

The Avedis Zildjian Company, the world's leading cymbal company, is pleased to announce the introduction of an innovative, new cymbal series designed with one of Japan's top drummers, Akira Jimbo. Available in Ride, Crash, HiHat, China and Splash models, the K Custom Hybrid Series combines elements of existing K Custom cymbals to provide drummers with several different sound capabilities. The K Custom Hybrid models combine the unlathed, brilliant finish of the K Custom Ride on the inner half with the traditionally finished K Zildjian lathing on the outer half of the cymbal. This results in the possibility of two different sound dynamics depending where the cymbal is played. Additionally, the unlathed section helps to control the wash and sustain, rendering them ideal for recording and live situations.
